Position Title: Mine Operations Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Mine Operations Manager to join our team. As the Mine Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our mining operations, including production, safety, and environmental compliance. This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires exceptional leadership, technical skills, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize production, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Manage and optimize the use of resources, including equipment, personnel, and materials.
• Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and identify potential risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community members, and suppliers.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as geology, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and achieve production targets.
• Develop and manage the mine budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare reports and presentations on production, safety, and environmental performance for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a mining operations management role.
• Strong understanding of mining equipment, processes, and safety regulations.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and achieving production targets.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficient in using mining software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to work in a challenging and remote environment.
