Position: Detective

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Detective to join our team and help solve complex criminal cases. As a Detective, you will be responsible for conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and building strong cases against suspects. Your keen attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and strong communication skills will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, including but not limited to murder, theft, fraud, and other criminal activities
• Collect and analyze evidence from crime scenes, witnesses, and suspects
• Interview witnesses and suspects to gather information and establish timelines
• Utilize various surveillance techniques and technology to gather evidence
• Work closely with other law enforcement agencies, including local, state, and federal investigators
• Collaborate with prosecutors to build strong cases against suspects
• Testify in court as needed
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all investigations and evidence
• Stay up-to-date with laws, procedures, and techniques related to criminal investigations
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Detective or similar role
• Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques and procedures
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
