Overview: We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our guests. You will be the first point of contact for guests, and your role will be crucial in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they enter the establishment with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Escort guests to their designated table and provide them with menus
• Answer any questions guests may have and make recommendations if needed
• Take reservations and manage the seating chart
• Monitor the flow of guests and make adjustments to ensure efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and dining area
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate orders
• Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Basic math skills to handle cash and process payments
• Knowledge of reservation systems and phone etiquette
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
