Job Title: Machinery Maintenance Supervisor

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinery Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment within our organization. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is functioning at optimal levels, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment within the organization
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
• Schedule and prioritize work orders, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance services
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including equipment logs, work orders, and inventory levels
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are readily available when needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, creating a safe working environment for all employees
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machinery maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
• Proven experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
