Job Title: Instructional Design Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Design Specialist to join our team. As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and effective learning materials and programs for our organization. This role requires a combination of creativity, technical knowledge, and instructional design expertise to ensure our training initiatives are aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop learning objectives
• Design and develop instructional materials, such as e-learning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments
• Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective training programs
• Incorporate multimedia elements, such as graphics, videos, and simulations, to enhance the learning experience
• Conduct thorough needs analysis and gather feedback to continuously improve training programs
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, trainers, and technical staff, to ensure timely and quality delivery of training materials
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate or adult learning environment
• Proficient in using authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia
• Strong understanding of learning management systems and e-learning standards, such as SCORM and xAPI
• Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience in designing and developing technical training materials is a plus
