Position: Sustainable Farming Practitioner

You will work closely with our team to ensure that our farm is operating in an ethical and sustainable manner, while also maintaining profitability. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainable farming practices on the farm, including crop rotation, composting, and water conservation techniques.
• Conduct soil and water testing to ensure that our farming practices are in line with sustainable standards.
• Work closely with the farm team to educate and train them on sustainable practices and techniques.
• Monitor and track the farm's progress towards sustainability goals, and provide regular reports to management.
• Collaborate with local organizations and experts to stay up-to-date on sustainable farming practices and industry trends.
• Implement and maintain a waste management system on the farm, including recycling and proper disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainable farming or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of sustainable farming practices, techniques, and standards.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and educate others.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
