Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Jewelry Buyer and Merchandiser to join our team at LuxLooms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and merchandising our jewelry collections to ensure that they align with our brand's vision and meet the demands of our target market. You will work closely with our design, production, and sales teams to bring our jewelry designs to life and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international jewelry suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality materials and finished products.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with the design team to create new and innovative jewelry collections that align with market trends and our brand's vision.
• Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify consumer preferences and demands, and make informed buying decisions.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and fashion shows to stay updated on the latest trends and network with potential suppliers.
• Work closely with the production team to manage inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of popular and fast-selling items.
• Create and maintain purchase orders, invoices, and other related documents accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective marketing and promotional strategies for our jewelry collections.
• Monitor and analyze sales and inventory reports to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and reduce excess inventory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in jewelry buying and merchandising.
• Proven track record of successfully sourcing and purchasing high-quality jewelry materials and finished products.
• In-depth knowledge of market trends, consumer preferences, and industry best practices.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
