Job Title: Student Success Coach

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Student Success Coach to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. As a Student Success Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting students' academic success, personal growth, and overall well-being. You will provide guidance, support, and resources to students to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a supportive and trusting relationship with assigned students.
• Meet with students regularly to assess their progress and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Help students set realistic and achievable academic and personal goals.
• Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty, and other campus resources to ensure students receive the necessary support and resources.
• Assist students in developing time management and study skills to improve their academic performance.
• Provide students with resources and tools to help them overcome academic and personal challenges.
• Monitor students' academic progress and intervene when necessary to prevent academic setbacks.
• Act as a liaison between students and campus resources, such as tutoring services, counseling services, and career services.
• Organize workshops and events to promote student success and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in student success coaching.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with college students, preferably in a coaching or advising role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain a positive relationship with students.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of student development and learning theories.
• Familiarity with academic support resources and services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems.
• Passion for helping students succeed.

Working Conditions: This is a full-time, on-campus position. The Student Success Coach may be required to work evenings and weekends to accommodate student schedules and attend campus events. The position may also require occasional travel for professional development opportunities.
