Job Title: Fashion Merchandiser

Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The Fashion Merchandiser will be responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies that align with our brand's vision and goals. In this role, you will work closely with our design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that our products are presented in the most appealing and effective manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for fashion and a deep understanding of market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop product assortments that align with brand aesthetics and target market
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify current and emerging fashion trends
• Develop seasonal trend reports and make recommendations for product direction
• Partner with the sales team to create product presentations for buyers and retailers
• Manage the product development process from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or markdowns
• Create and maintain product line sheets and pricing information
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and effective product presentations for print and digital platforms
• Conduct store visits to gather feedback on product performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Analyze sales data and make strategic decisions to optimize product performance
• Attend trade shows and fashion events to stay updated on market trends and competitor strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Train and mentor junior merchandising team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fashion merchandising, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and market dynamics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of retail math and inventory management principles
• Willingness to travel for trade shows and store visits
• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail
