Position: Makeup Artist

Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Makeup Artist to join our team. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality makeup services to our clients. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' natural beauty and helping them achieve their desired look for various occasions such as weddings, photoshoots, fashion shows, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional makeup services to clients of all ages and skin types
• Consult with clients to understand their makeup preferences and desired look
• Recommend and select suitable makeup products for clients based on their skin tone and type
• Apply makeup products according to the clients' preferences and desired look
• Stay up-to-date with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products
• Maintain a clean and organized makeup station at all times
• Collaborate with hairstylists and other team members to create cohesive looks for clients
• Handle client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Upsell and cross-sell makeup products to clients to increase sales and revenue
• Keep track of inventory and restock makeup products as needed
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing makeup services

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Makeup Artist or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of makeup techniques, products, and trends
• Strong understanding of different skin types and tones
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and creativity
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings, as required
• A portfolio of previous work is a plus

Education and Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or diploma in Makeup Artistry or a related field is preferred

Working Conditions:

• This position may require standing for extended periods and using various makeup tools and products
• Exposure to various beauty products may occur
• May require flexibility in working hours to accommodate client appointments and special events
