About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As a Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring sustainability initiatives within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable practices and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and programs to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable practices within the organization.
• Conduct research and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address sustainability challenges.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainability practices into their processes and operations.
• Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability initiatives, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sustainability to continually enhance our sustainability efforts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, NGOs, and suppliers, to support sustainability initiatives.
• Educate and train employees on sustainability practices and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
• Assist in the development of sustainability reports and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead sustainability projects and initiatives, including coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop and promote sustainability campaigns to raise awareness and engage stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a sustainability role, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.
