Job Title: Garment Technician

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Garment Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Garment Technician, you will play a critical role in the production process by ensuring the quality and fit of our garments. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of garment construction. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and production team to develop and finalize garment designs
• Create and maintain detailed technical specifications for each garment, including measurements, materials, and construction methods
• Conduct fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to ensure garments meet quality and fit standards
• Communicate with overseas factories to troubleshoot any production issues and provide technical support
• Review and approve pre-production and production samples for accuracy and quality
• Utilize various tools and techniques to measure and inspect garments, including pattern blocks, rulers, and tape measures
• Identify and resolve any potential production issues to ensure timely delivery of quality garments
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve garment quality and fit

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design, apparel manufacturing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Garment Technician or in a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading
• Proficient in using Adobe Illustrator and other relevant software for creating technical specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
