Title: Curriculum Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Curriculum Coordinator to join our team. The Curriculum Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of our curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and data analysis. The Curriculum Coordinator will work closely with school leaders, teachers, and other stakeholders to support the continuous improvement of our curriculum and instructional practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school leaders and teachers to develop a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum that aligns with state and national standards.
• Lead the development of curriculum maps, unit plans, and lesson plans to guide instruction and ensure consistency across grade levels and subject areas.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of the curriculum to reflect current research, best practices, and changing educational standards.
• Facilitate professional development sessions to train teachers on new curriculum materials, instructional strategies, and assessment tools.
• Analyze student data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor the implementation of the curriculum and provide ongoing support and guidance to teachers.
• Collaborate with instructional coaches and other support staff to provide differentiated support and resources for teachers to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Manage the curriculum budget, including purchasing materials and resources that align with the curriculum goals.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and research in education to continuously improve the curriculum and instructional practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of educational standards and best practices in curriculum design and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in data analysis and using data to inform curriculum decisions.
• Highly organized with exceptional project management skills.
• Proficient in technology, including Google Suite, learning management systems, and curriculum mapping software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
