Position: Recreation Program Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Program Manager to join our team. As the Recreation Program Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our recreational programs, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our community. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a wide range of recreational programs that align with the interests and needs of the community.
• Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to ensure the success of recreational programs.

• Manage program budgets, including forecasting and reporting on expenses.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of program staff and volunteers.
• Ensure all programs are in compliance with safety and licensing regulations.
• Coordinate with marketing and communication teams to promote programs and attract participants.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality program materials and equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Leisure Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in a recreational setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recreational programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
