Position: Telecommunications Technician

Location: Jerusalem, Israel

Overview: Connect Net Telecom is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various telecommunications systems and equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have reliable and efficient communication systems in place.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment, including telephone systems, routers, switches, and wiring.
• Conduct site surveys to determine the best placement and installation methods for new equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems, including diagnosing and repairing hardware and software problems.
• Test and evaluate new equipment to ensure it meets company standards and specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed and equipment inventory.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Telecommunications Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including telephone systems, routers, and switches.
• Familiarity with various wiring and cabling standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions:
