Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and company goals.

Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and workers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of production and delivery schedules.

Oversee the procurement of raw materials and equipment, maintaining inventory levels and negotiating supplier contracts.

Monitor and maintain production equipment, identifying and addressing any issues to minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations within the production facility.

Develop and implement training programs for production staff to continuously improve their skills and knowledge.

Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary goals.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, implementing new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a steel production management role.

Proven track record of successfully managing a team and meeting production targets.

Strong knowledge of steel production processes, equipment, and materials.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the steel industry.

Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
