If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Healthcare Data Analyst at HealHub Healthcare.As a Healthcare Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in the management and analysis of healthcare data to drive informed decision making. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of healthcare data from various sources, including electronic health records, claims data, and patient surveys. Your insights and recommendations will help improve the quality of care, reduce costs, and increase efficiencies within our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze healthcare data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain data models, databases, and dashboards to track and report on key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare providers, administrators, and IT professionals, to define data requirements, validate data quality, and ensure data accuracy.
• Utilize statistical and data mining techniques to identify correlations and insights from complex data sets.
• Create and present reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare data management and analysis.
• Support the implementation of new data systems and processes to improve data collection and analysis.
• Train and mentor junior data analysts, providing guidance on data modeling, analysis techniques, and software tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data sources, such as claims data, electronic health records, and patient surveys.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools, such as SAS, R, or Python, and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large, complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, is preferred.
