Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to design and develop science curriculum aligned with national and state standards.
• Conduct research on current best practices in science education and incorporate these into curriculum design.
• Train teachers in the implementation of the science curriculum and provide ongoing support and professional development.
• Develop and implement hands-on and interactive science activities and experiments for students.
• Create and maintain a repository of educational resources, including lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia materials.
• Collaborate with other education specialists to integrate science education with other subjects and promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Conduct workshops and presentations for educators and students on science-related topics.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in science education and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with schools and other organizations to promote and enhance science education in the community.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the science curriculum and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and data analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and implementing science curriculum.
• Knowledge of national and state science standards and experience in aligning curriculum to these standards.
• Strong understanding of current best practices in science education and experience in incorporating them into curriculum design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support teachers effectively.
• Experience in creating and using interactive and hands-on learning materials.
• Proficiency in educational technology and multimedia tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Passion for science education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.
