Job Title: Public Policy Advisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Policy Advisor to join our team. As a Public Policy Advisor, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance on public policy issues to our organization. Your main objective will be to develop and implement effective public policy strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive research and analysis on relevant public policy issues affecting our organization
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments at the local, state, and federal levels
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide policy recommendations and guidance on potential impacts to our business
• Draft policy briefings, white papers, and other materials to inform and educate stakeholders on key policy issues
• Represent our organization in public forums and engage in public speaking opportunities to advocate for our policy positions
• Identify and pursue opportunities to influence policy decisions through advocacy efforts and partnerships
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public policy and incorporate them into our strategies
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Serve as a subject matter expert on public policy issues and advise senior leadership on potential risks and opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public policy, government relations, or a related field
• Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory process at the local, state, and federal levels
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex policy issues to a variety of audiences
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful public policy strategies
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information into actionable recommendations
• Experience in public speaking and representing organizations in public forums
• Knowledge of industry-specific policies and regulations is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
