Job Title: Investigative Reporter

• Utilize various investigative techniques, such as data analysis and public records requests, to uncover hidden information
• Attend press conferences, court hearings, and other events to gather information and conduct interviews
• Adhere to ethical standards and legal guidelines in all aspects of investigative reporting
• Stay up-to-date on current events and trends to identify potential investigative stories
• Pitch investigative ideas and collaborate with other reporters to produce in-depth investigative pieces
• Utilize social media and other digital platforms to promote and share investigative stories
• Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in investigative reporting
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of journalistic ethics and standards
• Familiarity with digital tools and techniques used in investigative reporting
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
