Position: Stocking Associate

Are you looking for a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where you can utilize your organizational skills and attention to detail? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as a Stocking Associate.As a Stocking Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store shelves are fully stocked and organized for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to receive, unpack, and stock merchandise in an efficient and timely manner. This includes accurately counting and recording inventory, organizing products on shelves, and ensuring all items are properly labeled and priced.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and unpack merchandise shipments from suppliers
• Verify the accuracy of inventory received and report any discrepancies to the management team
• Organize and stock merchandise on shelves according to company standards
• Label and price items accurately
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low stock situations to management
• Maintain a clean and organized backroom and sales floor area
• Assist customers with locating products and answering any questions they may have
• Operate a forklift or other equipment to move and store merchandise, if required
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is an asset
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 50lbs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
