Job Title: Safety and Security Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety and Security Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, facilities, and assets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of safety and security protocols, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety and security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety and security audits to identify potential hazards and make recommendations for improvements.
• Monitor and maintain the company's CCTV and alarm systems, ensuring they are functioning properly.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or security breaches, and make recommendations for preventative measures.
• Oversee the training of employees on safety and security protocols and procedures.
• Create and maintain safety and security training materials, including manuals, handouts, and presentations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external safety and security vendors and service providers.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company's safety and security protocols are current and effective.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and security role.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and handle high-stress situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Experience with CCTV and alarm systems is preferred.
• Previous experience in conducting safety and security training is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.

Working Conditions: This position requires a high level of alertness and the ability to handle emergency situations. The Safety and Security Coordinator may be required to work outside of regular business hours and may be on-call for emergencies. The role may also require occasional travel to other company locations.
