Position Title: Civil Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, design, and implementation of various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead a team to successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams in the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure that all projects are completed within the agreed-upon timelines and budget.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or delays, and report project status to senior management.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Continuously assess project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate any potential issues.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time position, with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.
• The majority of the work will be performed in an office setting, with occasional site visits required.
• Travel may be required to visit project sites and attend meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• The role may involve working in outdoor settings and exposure to various weather conditions.
