Job Overview: As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing curriculum and instructional materials to support the educational goals and objectives of our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other education professionals to create engaging and effective learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, content, and assessment strategies for new and existing courses
• Design and develop curriculum for a variety of delivery methods, including online, in-person, and blended learning
• Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Develop learning materials such as lesson plans, presentations, handouts, and assessments
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in curriculum development
• Ensure all learning materials are aligned with learning objectives and standards
• Review and evaluate existing curriculum and make necessary updates and revisions
• Collaborate with other curriculum development team members to ensure consistency and quality across courses and programs
• Participate in pilot testing and gather feedback to make improvements to the curriculum
• Train and support instructors on the effective use of curriculum and learning materials
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
• Experience with various instructional design models and methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in using learning management systems and other instructional technologies
• Knowledge of industry standards and trends in curriculum development
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
