Job Title: Aviation Operations Manager

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Aviation Operations Manager to join our team. As the Aviation Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our aviation department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, as well as managing our team of aviation professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
• Monitor and analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage and coordinate the scheduling of aircraft, crew, and ground support personnel to ensure timely and safe flights
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the company's aircraft to ensure they are in compliance with all safety regulations and are ready for scheduled flights
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and human resources, to ensure effective communication and coordination of operations
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Manage and develop a team of aviation professionals, including pilots, flight attendants, and ground support personnel
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary resources for operations
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in technology to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant
• Handle any operational issues or emergencies in a timely and efficient manner to minimize disruptions to flight operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation operations management
• Knowledge of aviation industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and controlling costs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with various stakeholders
• Proficient in using aviation software and technology
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies with a calm and composed demeanor
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed
