As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machinery Technician to join our team.
Job Summary: As a Machinery Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our machinery at client sites. You will work closely with our clients to ensure that their machinery is functioning properly and will troubleshoot any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery at client sites in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for machinery improvements
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on machinery
- Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of machinery
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies related to machinery
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinery Technician or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
Working Conditions: This position requires working in a variety of environments, including manufacturing plants, construction sites, and agricultural facilities. The Machinery Technician may be exposed to loud noises, extreme temperatures, and other potential hazards. Some work may need to be performed in confined spaces or at heights. Travel to client sites is required for this role.
