Job Title: Ranch Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ranch Manager to oversee all operations and management of our ranch. The Ranch Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the ranch, including animal care, property maintenance, staff management, and financial management. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of ranch operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of ranch operations, including animal care, pasture management, property maintenance, and staff management.
• Create and implement ranch policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Hire, train, and supervise ranch staff, including farmhands, animal handlers, and administrative staff.
• Ensure the health and well-being of all animals on the ranch, including monitoring their diet, health, and living conditions.
• Oversee and maintain all ranch facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and other professionals to ensure the health and safety of all animals.
• Develop and implement breeding and birthing programs for livestock.
• Maintain accurate records of animal inventory, breeding, and sales.
• Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to ranch operations.
• Prepare reports and provide updates to senior management on ranch operations, budget, and any issues or concerns.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve ranch operations and increase profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ranch management.
• Extensive knowledge of animal care, pasture management, and farm equipment.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong financial management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
