Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing curriculum materials and programs that align with our company's standards and objectives. You will also be responsible for providing training and support to teachers and educators on the implementation of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and enhance curriculum materials that align with company standards and objectives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify current trends and best practices in curriculum development.
- Design and develop instructional materials, assessments, and activities that support the learning objectives.
- Work closely with instructional designers and graphic designers to create engaging and visually appealing curriculum materials.
- Review and revise curriculum materials on an ongoing basis to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
- Provide training and support to teachers and educators on the implementation of the curriculum.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that curriculum materials are accessible to all learners, including those with special needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other Curriculum Specialists to share best practices and ensure consistency across all curriculum materials and programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest educational technologies and incorporate them into curriculum design and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in curriculum development.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design principles and instructional strategies.
- Experience working with K-12 curriculum materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in educational technologies and tools.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and content authoring tools.
- Experience providing training and support to teachers and educators.
