Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python programming language

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Write efficient, reusable, and testable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices

Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Python development

Implement security and data protection measures

Integrate data storage solutions, such as databases, data lakes, and data warehouses

Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and project optimization

Continuously learn and improve skills through self-study, training, and knowledge sharing with team members

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Proven experience as a Python Developer or similar role

Strong knowledge of core Python and its libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn

Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Knowledge of software development methodologies and agile practices

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure

Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts

Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

Contributions to open source projects or participation in coding competitions
