Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of students at varying levels of math proficiency
Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities, to engage and challenge students
Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into lesson plans to enhance student learning
Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other forms of assessment
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities and support student success
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and progress
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any areas of concern
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in math education
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
Valid teaching certification in Math
Prior teaching experience at the high school level preferred
Strong knowledge of high school math curriculum and instructional methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage a classroom and differentiate instruction for diverse learners
Proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessment purposes
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
