Position Title: Trade Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all trade regulations and laws applicable to our organization, including but not limited to export controls, sanctions, and import regulations.
• Monitor changes in trade laws and regulations, and provide guidance to the organization on how these changes may impact our operations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with trade regulations and laws.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with trade regulations and laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on trade compliance matters and assist in developing strategies to mitigate potential risks.
• Investigate and resolve any compliance issues or violations that may arise.
• Keep accurate records of all trade transactions and maintain all necessary documentation.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on trade compliance and regulations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all trade compliance inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant government agencies, industry associations, and other external partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a similar industry.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant trade regulations and laws.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
