Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Merchandising Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales and profitability by developing and executing effective merchandising strategies. You will be responsible for managing the overall product assortment, inventory levels, and pricing strategies to ensure maximum profitability. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for new product categories and improve existing ones
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of merchandising strategies
• Manage the product assortment, from selection to launch, to ensure it meets customer needs and drives sales
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the supply chain team to ensure product availability and timely delivery
• Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market
• Analyze sales data and make recommendations to optimize product performance and drive sales growth
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
• Manage a team of merchandisers and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team goals are met
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform merchandising decisions and strategies
• Develop and manage the merchandising budget and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong understanding of retail math and financial analysis
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful merchandising strategies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working with merchandising software
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for product trends and consumer needs
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Knowledge of retail industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior
