Instructional Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and talented Instructional Design Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will be responsible for developing engaging and effective learning materials for a variety of audiences. You will utilize your expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles to design and develop training materials that meet the needs of our employees, clients, and partners. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and organize content, and use your creativity and instructional design skills to create interactive and engaging learning experiences. You will be responsible for designing and developing e-learning courses, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and other learning resources. You will also be responsible for continuously evaluating and improving our learning materials to ensure their effectiveness and impact. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies, as well as experience with e-learning development tools. You must also have strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and project milestones. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also essential, as you will be working with cross-functional teams and presenting your ideas and recommendations to stakeholders.

Job Description:

• Responsibilities: - Develop and design engaging and effective learning materials for a variety of audiences, including employees, clients, and partners
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning goals to determine the most appropriate instructional strategies and methodologies
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and organize content for learning materials
• Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create interactive and engaging learning experiences
• Design and develop e-learning courses, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and other learning resources
• Ensure that all learning materials are visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible to diverse audiences
• Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, animations, and simulations, to enhance the learning experience
• Conduct pilot tests and gather feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of learning materials
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning to continuously improve and innovate learning solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in training materials and messaging
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and project milestones
• Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to key stakeholders and project sponsors
• Continuously evaluate and measure the impact and effectiveness of learning solutions, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design or e-learning development
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Experience with e-learning development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite or Final Cut Pro
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present ideas and recommendations to stakeholders
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
