Position: Education Director

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Education Director to join our team. As the Education Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs and initiatives that support the mission and goals of our organization. You will oversee all aspects of our educational programs, including curriculum development, teacher training, and student engagement. The ideal candidate is a driven and innovative leader with a passion for education and a strong background in program development and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of educational programs that align with the organization's mission and goals
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners
• Ensure that all educational programs are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Conduct research and gather data to assess the effectiveness of current educational programs and make recommendations for improvements
• Develop and manage budgets for educational programs
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of educators and support staff
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students and staff
• Establish partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance educational opportunities for students
• Coordinate and facilitate professional development opportunities for educators
• Develop and maintain relationships with funders and donors to secure funding for educational programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development and management in the education sector
• Strong understanding of educational theories and best practices
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing educational programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think creatively and strategically
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Proficient in budget management and grant writing
