Position: Director of Education and Curriculum Development

Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Education and Curriculum Development to join our dynamic and innovative organization. This individual will be responsible for leading our education and curriculum development team to create and implement effective educational programs and materials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of developing successful curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive education and curriculum strategy in line with the organization's mission and vision.
• Lead and manage a team of education and curriculum professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps in existing programs and to develop new educational initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices in education and curriculum development.
• Conduct needs assessments and research to identify target audiences and their learning needs.
• Design and oversee the development of curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and teaching aids.
• Ensure all educational programs and materials are aligned with state and national standards.
• Monitor the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage budgets for education and curriculum development initiatives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to support the organization's education initiatives.
• Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other events related to education and curriculum development.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in education and curriculum development.
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing a team.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories.
• Experience with curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of state and national education standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
