Position: Network Administrator

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our company's computer network. This includes designing, installing, configuring, and supporting network infrastructure and ensuring the security and integrity of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network outages
• Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
• Upgrade network systems, software, and hardware as needed
• Ensure network connectivity throughout the company's LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot network-related issues
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient network operation
• Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems
• Manage network security and implement appropriate controls
• Conduct regular network performance tests and optimize network performance
• Support disaster recovery plans and participate in disaster recovery drills
• Stay up-to-date with current networking technologies and trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role
• Proven hands-on experience with network devices and equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, etc.) will be considered an asset
