Job Overview: As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events of all sizes and types. You will work closely with clients to understand their event objectives and develop creative and innovative solutions to bring their vision to life. You will oversee every aspect of event planning, from budget management to vendor coordination, to ensure the success of each event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop event concepts and themes that align with client objectives and brand identity
• Create event proposals and budgets, and present them to clients for approval
• Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, such as venues, caterers, and entertainment

- Coordinate event logistics, including but not limited to: venue setup, audio-visual equipment, transportation, and accommodations

• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and manage event registrations
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to clients
• Oversee event staff, including event coordinators, volunteers, and temporary workers
• Conduct site visits and attend walkthroughs to ensure all event details are executed flawlessly
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during events and provide quick and effective solutions
• Continuously evaluate event success and gather feedback from clients and attendees for future improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven experience in budget management and contract negotiation
• Proficient in event planning software and tools, such as Cvent or Eventbrite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary
