You will lead a team of technicians and engineers to ensure the smooth functioning of our machinery and equipment. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our high-quality standards and ensuring timely delivery of products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the machinery department
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the machinery team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Monitor and track the performance of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to develop new and innovative solutions for machinery and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in the operation of machinery
• Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement to increase overall efficiency and reduce costs
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment
• Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies to drive continuous improvement in the machinery operations
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets and expenses to meet financial targets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team of technicians and engineers
• Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment operations and maintenance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
