Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Development Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all our programs. You will work closely with other department heads to ensure that our programs align with our organization's mission and goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating positive change and a proven track record of successfully developing and managing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for program development that aligns with the organization's mission and goals
• Conduct research and analyze data to identify community needs and develop programs that address those needs
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure program development aligns with the organization's overall strategy
• Create and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
• Oversee the recruitment and training of program staff and volunteers
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, funders, and government agencies
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to ensure program success
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program development and apply them to our organization's programs
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board of directors on program progress and impact
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to program development and implementation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Non-profit Management, Social Work, or Public Administration
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development, preferably in the non-profit sector
• Strong understanding of program development principles and best practices
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing programs that have had a positive impact on communities
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising is a plus
