Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance operations of our facility. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment and systems are running efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing direction and guidance to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment and systems are well-maintained and in good working condition.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance projects, including scheduling repairs, ordering parts and supplies, and overseeing contractors.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of equipment and supplies to ensure that all necessary items are on hand.
• Train and mentor maintenance team members, providing guidance on best practices and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance tasks do not interfere with production schedules.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in maintenance technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
