Job Title: Arms Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arms Technician to join our team. As an Arms Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of various firearms and other weapons used by our organization. You will work closely with our armory team to ensure that all weapons are functioning properly and meet safety standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a thorough understanding of firearms and their components.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, clean, and repair firearms and other weapons according to company standards and manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Disassemble and reassemble firearms to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Test fire weapons to ensure proper functionality and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of all weapons maintenance and repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the armory.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all weapons and ammunition are accounted for.
• Collaborate with other members of the armory team to ensure all weapons are maintained and ready for use.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in weapons technology and techniques.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while handling firearms and other weapons.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with firearms and weapons.
• Extensive knowledge of firearms, their components, and how they operate.
• Familiarity with gunsmithing tools and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow strict safety protocols and regulations.
• Must pass a background check and possess a valid firearms license.
• Military or law enforcement experience is a plus.
