About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinery Engineer to join our growing team. As a Machinery Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining machinery and equipment used in our company's production processes. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our machinery and meet production targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop machinery and equipment used in the production process, taking into consideration safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine production requirements and design solutions that meet those needs
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for new machinery and equipment, as well as modifications to existing ones
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery, ensuring it meets all safety and performance standards
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues with machinery and equipment, and implement solutions to improve their performance and reliability
• Conduct regular maintenance inspections and develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and increase efficiency
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in machinery and equipment, and make recommendations for their implementation in our production processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and standards, with hands-on experience in designing machinery and equipment
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools
• Experience with project management, including budgeting and scheduling
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
