Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Application Developer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain database applications for our company
• Collaborate with the software development team to ensure seamless integration of database applications with other software systems
• Perform database maintenance tasks such as backups, upgrades, and data optimization
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database applications
• Develop and implement database security measures to protect company data
• Conduct database performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient operation
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
• Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their implementation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Application Developer or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience with database design and optimization techniques
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, C++)
