Inventory Control Specialist

This role is critical for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, tracking inventory movement, and ensuring timely stock replenishment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock
Conduct regular cycle counts to identify and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with purchasing team for timely inventory replenishment
Evaluate inventory levels and recommend disposal or markdowns
Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends
Coordinate with warehouse team for accurate inventory handling
Implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy
Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and returns
Train team members on inventory management processes
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control
Strong analytical skills with data interpretation abilities
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of inventory control best practices
Adaptable to fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
