Job Title: Curriculum Coordinator

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Curriculum Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the curriculum for our educational institution. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of our students and aligns with our educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers and subject matter experts to develop and revise curriculum for all grade levels and subjects
• Ensure that curriculum meets state and national standards, as well as the specific needs of our institution
• Develop and implement curriculum maps, scope and sequence documents, and other instructional materials
• Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of curriculum to ensure its effectiveness and make necessary adjustments
• Provide support and professional development to teachers in implementing the curriculum effectively
• Stay up-to-date with current educational trends and research to continuously improve and enhance the curriculum
• Collaborate with administrators to ensure that curriculum aligns with our institution's mission and goals
• Establish and maintain relationships with educational partners and vendors to support curriculum development and implementation
• Monitor and manage the budget for curriculum resources and materials
• Coordinate and lead curriculum-related meetings and professional development sessions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to curriculum development and implementation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development at the school or district level
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and educational standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings and professional development sessions
• Knowledge of current educational trends and research in curriculum development and instructional strategies
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in various computer applications and educational technology tools
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced and ever-changing educational environment
