Position: Assistant Professor of Education

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Education. As an Assistant Professor, you will play a key role in shaping the minds of future educators and leaders in the field of education. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in education, with a focus on your area of expertise
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and other teaching materials that promote critical thinking and encourage students to explore new ideas
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters
• Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputable journals to contribute to the field of education
• Participate in departmental and university committees, as well as attend and present at conferences and other professional development activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new curriculum and teaching methods that align with the university's educational objectives
• Utilize innovative technology and teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement
• Stay current with developments and trends in the field of education, and incorporate them into teaching and research activities
• Engage in community outreach and partnership activities to promote the university and the department's programs
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and encourages students to reach their full potential

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Education or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the university level
• Proven track record of scholarly publications and research activities
• Knowledge of current teaching methods and technology in education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student success
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and advise students effectively
• Ability to balance teaching, research, and service responsibilities effectively
• Experience in curriculum development and program assessment is preferred
