Job Overview: As the Academic Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our academic programs, ensuring that they are aligned with our institution's mission and goals. You will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to develop and implement strategies that promote academic excellence and student success. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement academic policies and procedures that align with the institution's mission and goals.
• Lead the development and evaluation of new academic programs, including conducting market research and analyzing data to identify industry trends and student demands.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop and update curriculum and ensure that it meets accreditation standards.
• Monitor the performance of academic programs, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance student learning.
• Provide guidance and support to faculty in their teaching and research activities.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of faculty and staff.
• Manage the budget for academic programs and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
• Foster strong relationships with industry partners to create opportunities for students, such as internships and job placements.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as admissions and student services, to ensure a seamless experience for students.
• Stay current with developments and best practices in higher education and incorporate them into the institution's academic programs.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in academic program management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of higher education policies and procedures.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful academic programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with faculty, staff, and industry partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards and processes.
