Job Summary: As an Academic Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our students. You will work closely with students to provide them with academic guidance and support, helping them navigate their educational journey and achieve their academic and personal goals. You will be responsible for providing students with resources, information, and advice to help them make informed decisions about their academic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet with students on a regular basis to discuss their academic progress and provide them with guidance and support.

Help students develop academic plans that align with their goals and interests.

Assist students in selecting courses and creating a course schedule that meets their academic requirements.

Monitor students' academic performance and intervene when necessary to ensure their success.

Provide students with information about academic policies, procedures, and resources.

Collaborate with faculty and staff to address students' academic needs and concerns.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student meetings, academic plans, and progress.

Participate in workshops and training sessions to stay updated on academic programs and policies.

Contribute to the development and implementation of academic advising programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in academic advising or a similar role.

Knowledge of academic programs, policies, and procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with a diverse student population.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems.
