Key Responsibilities:

Test and troubleshoot database configurations and functionality to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
Collaborate with the development team to understand database requirements and design efficient testing strategies
Develop and execute test cases and scripts to thoroughly test the database and identify any potential issues
Document and report any issues or bugs found during testing, and work closely with the development team to resolve them
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing processes
Monitor and analyze database performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all databases are thoroughly tested before deployment
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database testing techniques and tools, making recommendations for improvement as necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in database testing or a related role
Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and SQL
Experience with database testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or LoadRunner
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to identify and resolve issues
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of data management and security best practices
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
