Key Responsibilities:

Conduct reservoir characterization and simulation studies to assess the potential of oil and gas reserves.
Design and implement drilling plans, including well placement, casing design, and drilling fluids.
Analyze well performance and production data to optimize production and minimize costs.
Develop and implement enhanced oil recovery techniques to maximize oil and gas recovery from existing reservoirs.
Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to evaluate new exploration opportunities.
Monitor and analyze well performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
Oversee the design and implementation of facilities and equipment for production operations.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with a focus on reservoir engineering.
Strong knowledge of drilling, completion, and production operations.
Proficient in reservoir simulation software and other engineering applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management and leadership abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel to field sites and work in remote locations.
